I'm just watching Friday's BBC World News America broadcast, and am struck by the parallels between the damage done by the coverage/reaction to this Koran Burning Pastor and the damage done by America's (over) reaction in response to the original 9/11 attacks. Both with respect to the terrorist nature of the acts and the hijacking of the media narrative by extremists.
